Ali Babylon Tours (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website alibabylon.com and provides guided tour services across Iraq. By using our website or booking a tour, you agree to these terms.

Booking & Reservations

All tours are subject to availability. A booking is confirmed only after we respond to your inquiry with a written confirmation via email or WhatsApp.

We reserve the right to decline a booking at our discretion, including for safety reasons.

Pricing & Payment

All prices listed on our website are starting prices and may vary based on group size, tour duration, and specific requirements. Final pricing is agreed upon in writing before your tour is confirmed.

Payment terms, including deposits and final payment deadlines, will be communicated at the time of booking confirmation. Accepted payment methods will be discussed during the booking process.

Prices are quoted in US Dollars unless otherwise stated.

Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellation by you:

  • 14+ days before tour: Full refund of any deposit paid
  • 7–13 days before tour: 50% refund of deposit
  • Less than 7 days before tour: No refund

Cancellation by us: If we cancel a tour for any reason, including safety concerns, you will receive a full refund of all payments made. We will make reasonable efforts to offer alternative dates or arrangements.

Force majeure: Neither party is liable for cancellations caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, civil unrest, government restrictions, pandemics, or severe weather. In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule or provide a refund.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance before visiting Iraq. Your insurance should cover trip cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation, and personal belongings. Ali Babylon Tours is not responsible for any costs arising from uninsured incidents.

Health & Fitness

Some tours involve walking on uneven terrain, exposure to heat, and travel in areas with limited medical facilities. You are responsible for assessing your own fitness and health before booking. Please inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or mobility requirements so we can plan accordingly.

Safety & Liability

Your safety is our priority. We only operate tours in areas we assess as safe for visitors, and we continuously monitor local conditions. However, travel in Iraq involves inherent risks that differ from travel in Western countries.

By booking a tour, you acknowledge that:

  • You travel at your own risk and are responsible for your personal safety and belongings.
  • Ali Babylon Tours is not liable for injury, illness, loss, or damage arising during a tour, except where caused by our direct negligence.
  • We are not liable for the actions of third-party service providers including hotels, restaurants, and transport operators.
  • We reserve the right to alter or cancel any itinerary at short notice if we believe conditions are unsafe.

Our maximum liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the tour in question.

Your Responsibilities

By joining a tour, you agree to:

  • Follow safety instructions given by your guide at all times
  • Respect local laws, customs, and cultural sensitivities
  • Carry valid travel documents including passport and any required visas
  • Arrive at agreed meeting points on time
  • Behave in a manner that does not endanger yourself, other guests, or your guide

We reserve the right to remove any guest from a tour without refund if their behaviour endangers others or violates local laws.

Photos & Media

We may take photos or videos during tours for use on our website, social media, and marketing materials. If you prefer not to be photographed, please let us know before the tour begins and we will respect your wishes.

By participating in a tour, you grant us permission to use images in which you appear for promotional purposes unless you have opted out.

Intellectual Property

All content on alibabylon.com, including text, images, design, and branding, is the property of Ali Babylon Tours and may not be reproduced without written permission.

Changes to Itineraries

Tour itineraries are provided as a guide and may be subject to change due to weather, road conditions, site closures, security assessments, or other factors beyond our control. We will always aim to provide suitable alternatives and will communicate any changes as soon as possible.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Iraq. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Iraq.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
